It all started when…
Good Luck Fox Vintage was born out of some of my earliest memories. I remember wandering through antique stores with my mom, my grandmother, and my aunt. I would hear them ooh-ing and ah-ing in each little booth. My grandmother would regale us with stories about my grandpa's ham radio and how his was nicer than anything they were selling at the antique store.
My mom, looking for something constructive to do with me would plop me down in a booth that had knickknack baskets filled with items that were twenty-five cents. I was barely old enough to read, but I would pour through baskets of buttons and costume jewelry looking for the 'special ones'. I would imagine where all the buttons came from and all of the stories they could tell - if buttons could talk, that is.
By the time I was twelve, I had lots of special ones. To this day when I visit my childhood home, I find little jars and boxes filled with vintage buttons and knickknacks that I hid away for safekeeping.
Once I was old enough and had a home of my own, I decorated my house with a unique mixture of curated pieces sourced from driveways to department stores. I'm still a treasure hunter at heart, and every piece I uncover has a story.
Now that my home is full of stories (as well as a lot of toys from my twin daughters), I've created this store and curated collection so that you can bring a little something special to your home.
